Credit Card Companies reducing credit lines?

I got a notice a couple of months ago from one of my two credit card companies that they were going to reduce my line of credit if I did not start using the card (It had a zero balance). I told them I did not care. They reduced the line of credit from $10,000 to $1500. I reduced it to zero yesterday when I cut it up and sent it back to them with a letter telling them a $1500 credit card is almost useless. Why not give me a good incentive to use the card? What is the old saying? The beatings will continue until morale improves? I wonder what opportunistic bank will jump in and issue cards to people with all that money that is supposedly out there to lend? There is opportunity with the Crown Jack Group for an accountant who wants to build their firm.
